The most memorable road trip I had was a trip I took to go camping. It was one of the first getaways I had with my partner, and that is partly why it is my most memorable; also, I have never really gotten out much until now. I went to a beach and camped in a trailer. We were nowhere near town, as it took a forty-minute drive to get into town.
It was about a six-hour drive to get to the spot, and it was a lovely journey filled with stops to look at views and discover restaurants we had never heard of. I know it isn’t anything mind-blowing, but not having traveled a lot, I was so happy to experience somewhere new with someone I love. My favorite memory is stopping at a local catch-and-release aquarium, where I learned how they help maintain fish populations. They ensure fish eggs stay alive and that animals are not overpopulated, allowing for different species to be found during visits. Their mission is to help the population by treating sick fish and then releasing them back into the wild, making sure that certain fish populations don’t go extinct.
